The Mission of this organization is to perpetuate itself through the education, training and organization of unpaid, responsible volunteer adults. The result of such efforts will be that an educational opportunity will be offered to young women throughout Northern California to experience instruction and training for the purpose of developing and improving their capabilities as members of the community, utilizing the amateur softball program as a vehicle. The Mission includes guiding and helping the young women to hopefully obtain an athletic scholarship at a two or four-year college or university. The United States Government’s Title IX exemption is granted to cover the organization as the program is historically for females only.

Cal Aces Fastpitch is a nonprofit organization and is not organized for the private gain of any person. It is organized under the Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law of charitable purposes, which has established its tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The organization is incorporated in California and has been granted charitable (tax-exempt) status for California and Federal tax purposes.

This club was conceived and designed for female athletes, parents and coaches. The purpose of the team is to foster an environment where participants can develop athletically, build confidence, learn responsibility, leadership, have fun and improve themselves as valued citizens in our community.

It is the overall objective of the Cal - Aces to play at the most competitive level possible. As an “A” level ASA (Amateur Softball Association) softball traveling team, our young ladies will compete nationally. This provides young women the opportunity to demonstrate their skills to such college/university coaches and scouts in a professional, ethical manner that abides by and obeys the NCAA rules of recruitment.

We are asking you to consider supporting young women’s athletics in our community by assisting in providing young women with an opportunity to grow into valued citizens.

Thank you for your support,

Willie Madrid

Sincerely,

Willie Madrid (Head Coach)
